Cedar Green B222 Aromatic Cedar Hang-ups - 18 Piece

I began using cedar blocks when a couple of my favorite sweaters got moth holes. Since I started using cedar blocks this has not happened again. I was so pleased with the cedar blocks Cedar Green C313 Aromatic Cedar Scent Blocks, 48-Piece that I tried hanging them in the closet attached with a ribbon, but that did not work really well. They were either on the way or fell to the floor. When I discovered Cedar Hang-ups my unsuccessful ribbon solution was replaced. Cedar hang-ups really work. They are not in the way, can be easily moved on the closet rod, they smell great, and I have not lost anything to a moth since I began using them. I live in a converted warehouse that has all of the crannies and nooks you'd expect in a 100+ year old building, so bugs can find their way in pretty easily. I'm reluctant to use insectiside around my dog and cat, so I put two of these cedar hang-ups on each window frame (in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathrooms, et al.) and it could not have worked better. My wife was so happily surprised that something so simple would prove so effective. I am so glad I got these. Many of the edges on my set were rough and splintering, requiring sanding to prevent them from snagging my clothes. I don't think customers should be expected to buy sand paper and sand down these hang-ups before using them the first time, but if that is the case, the company should at least provide the sand paper. The cedar scent is comparatively mild, but it is present. I have purchased other name brand cedar block products in the past with a stronger scent initially. However, I could smell the cedar scent from these hang-ups even before I opened the box they were shipped in, so I wouldn't necessarily call the scent weak, either.
